
Programme Evaluation, Impact and Learning Documentation Officer
Raj Karki is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Data enthusiast with a strong background in research, statistics, and data-driven decision making. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Tribhuvan University, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to research and data analysis. Raj began his professional journey with VSO, where he served as a National Volunteer (Diffusion Advisor) and later as a Monitoring and Evaluation – Data Officer. His role involved designing digital data collection systems using tools like KoboToolbox, conducting statistical analysis, training field teams, and translating complex datasets into meaningful insights through visualization and reporting. In addition to his work in the development sector, Raj has also worked as a Census Supervisor during Nepal’s Census 2021. He has also worked as a freelance data analyst.
Beyond his professional roles, Raj is deeply passionate about knowledge sharing and capacity building. Through his YouTube platforms and personal website, he creates educational content on psychology, and data analysis. Drawn by the personal goal of helping others and making positive contribution to society, he joined HELP as Programme Evaluation, Impact and Learning Documentation Officer, where he is developing tools, systems and framework for evaluating and measuring programme impact and documenting key learnings of HELP's programme.
