Mohan Tamang

Operations Officer

Originating from Gunsa in Sindhupalchok District, Mohan first volunteered with HELP through the International Volunteering Programme for over three years. Since 2015, he was appointed as Field Officer to oversee the construction of more than 200 temporary classrooms across 30 schools immediately after the earthquake, helping to restore access to education. Later, he was appointed to work alongside the School Reconstruction Manager, supervising the rebuilding of schools in Gufa, Pading, and Bhotangdevi.

Since 2020, Mohan has been contributing on a part-time basis, managing volunteer placements and occasionally assisting with the implementation of Greenhouse Polytunnel projects under HELP’s Livelihood Support Programme. He currently serves as Operations Officer at HELP. Mohan lives with his wife and a son and has lived in the UK for a brief period of time.
