HELP 3E Camp 2026 Concludes with the Induction of 73 New Post-SEE Scholars
HELP successfully concluded its inaugural 3E Camp 2026, bringing together 73 newly selected Post-SEE Scholarship recipients for two days of learning, reflection, leadership development, and celebration.
The 2026 Post-SEE Scholarship cohort, proudly named “Sayapatri,” began their journey with the first day of the 3E Camp, where 43 scholars participated in a series of workshops, group activities, reflective sessions, and meaningful conversations. The day encouraged students to explore their strengths, recognise their challenges, and reflect on the people they aspire to become.
The first day concluded on a joyful note with a student talent show, giving scholars an opportunity to share their creativity and connect with one another beyond the formal sessions.
A highlight of the camp was the participation of HELP’s long-time supporters and friends. Hirsh Cashdan (UK), Stamolis Manginas (Greece), and Dr. Nina Meyerhof (US) generously contributed their time and energy to the programme. Stamolis joined the camp in person during his first-ever visit to Nepal and facilitated a powerful session titled “I to We: Becoming a Leader in a Connected World.” Hirsh and Nina joined virtually, bringing their experience, encouragement, and enthusiasm to the scholars despite the distance.
The scholars also had the opportunity to hear from an inspiring panel of HELP alumni, whose journeys offered encouragement and real-life examples of how education and opportunity can shape meaningful careers and lives. The panel featured Susmita Tamang, a qualified nurse currently leading a government health post; Palden Lama, a successful photographer and videographer; and Karan Tamang and Er. Sabin Adhikari, who are now part of the HELP team, serving as Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager and Project Manager Engineer respectively.
Day 2: Welcoming the Sayapatri Cohort
Despite a long and intensive first day, the scholars returned at 6:00 AM on the second day for early morning activities and reflection sessions, demonstrating their enthusiasm and commitment to the camp.
The second day culminated in the formal Post-SEE Scholarship Award Ceremony, where 73 scholars of the Sayapatri cohort were officially welcomed into the HELP family.
The ceremony brought together distinguished leaders, guests, school principals, HELP representatives, alumni, and supporters to celebrate this important milestone in the students’ educational journeys.
HELP was honoured to welcome Chief Guest Tasi Lama, Chairperson of Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality; Sukra Chuman, Chairperson of Anbukhaireni; HELP Board Chair Ashish Shrestha; and Gopi Prasad Parajuli, Principal of Shree Bhotenamlang Secondary School. Their inspiring messages encouraged the new scholars to make the most of the opportunities ahead and to contribute positively to their communities and society.
The programme also featured insightful remarks from HELP Director Jimmy Lama and Programme Coordinator Tejaswi Karki, alongside an inspiring alumni reflection from Dr. Kanchan Gurung, who shared her experiences and words of encouragement with the new scholars.
The award ceremony was wonderfully hosted by Sneha, Sabin, and Susmita Tamang, adding warmth and energy to the celebration.
With the conclusion of the 3E Camp and the formal induction of the 73 Sayapatri scholars, HELP’s 2026 Post-SEE Scholarship Programme has officially begun a new chapter. The camp provided not only an opportunity to celebrate the scholars’ achievements, but also a space for them to build connections, develop confidence, reflect on their aspirations, and understand the responsibilities that come with being part of the HELP family.
